Your Purity Matters

At 13 years old, I remember my parents giving me a purity ring and explaining to me the importance ofwaiting and respecting your body. A bit nervous but grateful that they made me aware that my body is a temple ( 1 Cor 16:9). I decided to wear the ring on my married finger to honor the waiting of my husband and marriage ring. As I got older around 16, I heard girls in high school talk about their first time or even the heartache of knowing that the person they trusted cheated. I did not understand how a person could be physically close and end up with nothing. Very few of my friends understand my way of thinking. So I often felt alone, because I saw intimacy only for husband and wife. Inspired by Brelyn Freeman book - I read the book No Ring, No Ting I was so inspired by her joruney and encouraged to understand the value and gift I carry on the inside.

Today, at this age of twenty-six in my life I understand how the enemy has stolen identies by taking ones purity outside of marraige. The message is still the same

giving it away will not secure him to stay

There is no much miscommunicated information on the topic of soul ties and the impact sexual importalty has on your life. Sex outside of marriage will not allow you to into the kingdom of heaven. According to 1 Corthians 6:9 says "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." God did not make sex for play play, STD's or even abuse. It was created to replenish and multiple the earth (Genesis 1:28). This post is to enlighten your heart to understanding how to live in purity and prepare for the kingdom of heaven.

Purity is a choice and it is worth choosing!!
